Ava Lambert is a Minneapolis-based visual artist specializing in oil and acrylic painting. She has significant experience in a variety of other mediums including watercolor, ink, pencil, and sculpture. In addition to frequent commission work, Ava acquires inspiration from a variety of sources. Her detailed works include landscapes and elements of nature as well as figures, structures, and everyday objects. She also provides illustration work for select design and stationary companies.
Ava's works have received regional and international awards and recognition. Her most recent accomplishments include an honorable mention award at the 36th annual Chelsea International Fine Art Competition as well as special merit and honorable mention awards at the Light, Space & Time Art Gallery International ‘Botanicals’ 2022 Competition. Her works have been juried and awarded by curators of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA, Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, Whitney Museum of American Art, and The Leiden
Collection, among others. Her works have been included in exhibitions and private collections in London, New York, New Jersey, and Minnesota. Ava has also been an included artist in the selective Minnesota Fine Arts Exhibition for four consecutive years, in the 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 competitions.
As a member of Studio Pintura, Ava joins the Northrup King Building community of artists, working and displaying in the North Light Studio #350.
