I served as the January 2022 Artist in Residence at the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in Minneapolis for a 4-week work and display residency. As one of my onsite projects, I decided to recreate Vincent Van Gogh's paintings on garden rocks. This project tied into the immersive, interactive nature of the exhibit while introducing visitors to more of Van Gogh's works and an awareness of his life. The weatherproofed rocks also created the opportunity for his works to be placed outdoors for more to enjoy in a unique and more accessible environment.
